Standard UK SLP
SLP is available for posting to the UK or to International destinations and is a method of pricing post by average weight rather than the actual weight of each item. You supply Guernsey Post with the total weight of each consignment and the number of items in it, and we charge a price for the average weight of each item. This means that you don't have to spend time weighing each item of mail, something that is labour intensive and therefore costly.
All mail must be presented to us sorted by format, Letter, Large Letter or Packet as a minimum. However, further reductions in price can be gained by sorting mail into postcode areas (UK Mail) or countries (International mail).
You can choose the speed of delivery for your items to suit your deadlines and budget. We have a Priority Service (air) or an Economy Service (Sea).
