Franking service
Postage on letter mail items for any destination may be pre-paid without having to affix stamps. These items are franked by Guernsey Post to indicate payment and are charged from as little as £0.01 per item in addition to the normal applicable postal rate.
Payment can be made at the time of posting by cash or cheque.
Conditions of acceptance

The number of items must not be less than 100.

The items must be securely tied in bundles of 50 (bulky items in bundles of 10) with their addresses all in the same direction. All items in each bundle must be chargeable with the same rate of postage.

Items are accepted at Smith Street and Envoy House branches and at the Bridge, Cobo, Rohais, Alderney and Sark branches during normal Monday to Friday opening hours.
- Individual items must be presented in a traditional envelope, plastic sleeves cannot be franked.
- If sending more than 1,000 items, items must be received by 10am to ensure dispatch on the same day.

In the case of items accepted on Fridays, Guernsey Post reserves the right to withhold delivery until the following Monday.
