Prepaid VAT scheme
Business customers can apply to join the Prepaid VAT scheme for items posted from Guernsey to the UK.
Subject to acceptance the scheme enables you to pay the import VAT on account on items valued at £18 and over. All items posted through the scheme benefit from pre Customs clearance which improves delivery time.
You can also prepay import VAT at the time of posting on small quantities at any of our retail branches.
If the value of the goods excluding postage are greater than £18 import VAT is due on the value of the goods and the postage.
