Business customers can apply to join the Prepaid VAT scheme for items posted from Guernsey to the UK.
The scheme enables you to pay the import VAT on account on items valued at £18 and over. All items posted through this scheme benefit from pre Customs clearance for faster delivery.
You can also pre-pay import VAT at the time of posting on small quantities at any of our retail branches.
When the value of goods excluding postage is greater than £18*, import VAT is due on the value of both goods and postage.
