FedEx International Priority rates are based on the total weight of all packages in one shipment using one air waybill. Any fraction of a kilogram takes the next higher weight.
As an example, if your package is 90cm long, 70cm high and 50cm wide:
| Length | 90cm |
| Twice the height (2 x 70cm) |
+140cm |
| Twice the width (2 x 50cm) |
+100cm |
|
|
|
| Total | = 330cm |

Any package exceeding these standard measures is automatically considered as FedEx International Priority Freight and charged accordingly.
Width
Height
Length 274cm max.
When sending items that require a large amount of space but are not heavy, shipments will be charged according to the IATA volumetric standard. This applies to lightweight bulky items where pricing is calculated by size, not weight.
Dimensional weight in kg per package = Length x height x width in cm ÷ 6,000.
For example, if your package is 90cm long by 70cm in height and 50cm in width and weighs 2kg:
| Length | 90cm |
| Height |
x 70cm |
| Width |
x 50cm |
| IATA volumetric standard | ÷ 6000 |
| Total | = 52.5kg |
