FedEx Express
FedEx is the service used to send important, or time-sensitive items and documents worldwide (excluding UK, Isle of Man and Jersey). It is available from Envoy House, Smith Street, Alderney and Sark branches.

Items can be checked throughout their journey.

Calculate the cost of sending your item:
Step 1 Determine the delivery zone
Step 2 Establish the weight of the item (consider using FedEx packaging)
Step 3 Add on any additional insurance
Step 4 Remove drop-off discount (if taken to Envoy House)
Step 5 Add any additional services
Step 6 Add fuel surcharge
For FedEx International Priority, rates are based on the total weight of all packages in one shipment using one air waybill.
An example of a 6kg package going to Vietnam insured for £500, taken into Envoy House:
Zone B (Vietnam) x 6kg (package weight) = £94.90 + £5.16 (cost of £500 additional insurance) = £100.06 - £4.00 (drop-off discount) = £96.06 + 15% (fuel surcharge) = £110.47
When dimensional weights exceed actual weight, shipments will be charged according to the IATA volumetric standard. This applies to large bulky items that are light in weight so pricing is calculated by size not weight.

Saturday delivery £11.00 (Where available)
Address correction £5.50
Dangerous goods
- Accessible £0.61/kg (£45.00min)
- Inaccessible £0.41/kg (£30.00min)
Fuel surcharge
FedEx reserves the right to assess and change fuel surcharge according to the variation in the price of Kerosene-type jet fuel and without prior notice. For more information on the fuel surcharge, please visit www.fedex.com/gb.

Volume discounts for account holders
Discounts are available for customers with a Guernsey Post credit account (click here for information on how to open a credit account) and are applicable to monthly volumes. Discounts are calculated monthly and applied to your account.

Despatch arrangements & drop-off discount
FedEx is available at Envoy House, Smith Street, Alderney and Sark branches and can also be collected if you are a Guernsey Post or FedEx account holder. A £4 discount is available per item if taken to Envoy House. Either a volume discount or a drop off discount is applied, whichever is the greater.
FedEx items cannot be posted in pillar boxes.
