    Icelandic volcano ash

All mail appears to have reached us this morning, unaffected by the UK airport closures this morning.

Met Office reports indicate the ash cloud may move southwards during the later part of today. Whilst it may not necessarily affect CI air space, it may affect Bournemouth or other alternate airports that our service could fly to this evening.

We are monitoring this closely with our operator, Atlantic Airlines, and should there be a problem, we will enact our normal contingency which is to divert the outward mail to sea. This will however lose one day's service, delivery Saturday instead of Friday.
