Important Reminder - New Postal Tariffs effective from 1st August 2011

Next week, on Monday 1st August, Guernsey Post will be launching its new postal prices. These new prices were agreed by the Office of Utility Regulation (OUR), after Guernsey Post concluded successful negotiations with Royal Mail.

The cost of sending a Letter and a Large Letter to the UK will, from the 1st August, increase from 45p to 47p and from 58p to 61p (100g) respectively. Packet rates to the UK will also rise from £1.20 to £1.29 (100g).

The cost of sending a local Letter, Large Letter and Packet will continue to remain unchanged. Furthermore, Guernsey Post is holding all international prices for bulk and public services despite an increase in charges from Royal Mail.

Details of all Guernsey Post's new postal tariffs are available online and there will be a leaflet available in branch from 1st August 2011.
