Paying for your TV Licence is made easy when you do it through Guernsey Post, with the choice of paying by instalments or in one lump sum. TV Licence and information forms are available at all Guernsey Post branches and you can pay the whole amount by cash or debit card at any of our branches or arrange to spread your Licence payment over 12 months.
Our old saving stamps scheme has been replaced by a new and more convenient TV Licensing Savings Card to make the process more simple and secure.
There are two simple ways to apply for your Savings Card.
All Bailiwick residents (excluding Sark residents) over the age of 75 are entitled to a free TV Licence but still need to apply as the licence will not be issued automatically.
All Bailiwick residents (excluding Sark residents) aged 74 at the time of their TV Licence renewal can apply for a Short Term Licence at a reduced cost to take them up to their 75th birthdays. To arrange this please call 0300 790 6131 with your current TV Licence number and your Social Security number to hand.
Registered blind persons can buy a TV Licence for just half of the full licence fee.
Guernsey Post can issue TV Licences with immediate effect but further enquiries or complaints must be dealt with by the TV Licensing authority. For further information on TV Licences and other ways to pay click on the TV Licensing website.
