Following the retirement of two of our non-executive directors an exciting opportunity exists for Guernsey applicants with relevant experience to join the Guernsey Post Board. The ideal candidate will have board-level experience, strong analytical skills and the desire to support the company's strategy to strengthen the core business. The role will require approximately 13 days per annum (excluding the induction phase) to attend board meetings and carry out associated work. The annual remuneration is £10,884.

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to head up our Customer Service Team.
The successful candidate will have a passion for customer service, working closely with their team to provide excellent customer service through continuous improvement and setting exacting standards. We are looking to recruit a relief postal worker to join our Alderney postal team to cover for periods of absence.
The work involves preparing, collecting and delivering letters and parcels to addresses around the island.
You will need the ability to work quickly with good attention to detail, have an excellent knowledge of the island and a passion for good customer service. You will also need to be physically fit and hold a full driving licence. No experience of postal work is required as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours and be available at short notice. The recruitment process involves a written aptitude test and a basic police clearance. Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.
