About the roles
We are looking to recruit a number of responsible and conscientious individuals to join our postal team for a variety of full- and part-time positions.
The full-time roles will be 37.5 hours per week and will involve sorting and delivering of local mail and parcel items and processing of outward-bound bulk mail for our customers.
The part-time roles will be between 10 and 22.5 hours per week and will involve working within a specific department to assist with the postal operation at Envoy House.
All training is provided.
About you

You will need to be flexible, enjoy being active at work and keen to learn new skills. You will also need to be self-motivated and able to work on your own.
Knowledge & skills required:
• Able to work quickly and accurately with good attention to detail.
• Good island knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of IT and technology.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Physically fit with the ability to walk long distances and lift heavy items.
• Driving or HGV licence desirable but not essential.

What happens next?
After you apply, your application will be reviewed and, if shortlisted, you will be invited to sit the Postal Aptitude Test.
This role also requires a basic police clearance. Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.
