Current Vacancies
Guernsey Post are looking to recruit responsible and conscientious individuals to join our postal team to help us run the new automated parcel sortation machine, this will involve loading parcels onto a conveyor belt for sortation.
Candidates will need:
- the ability to work well as part of a team
- to work well under pressure
- to be physically fit as the work will involve lifting and standing for long periods
Hours: 05:00 – 08:30 Monday to Friday (17.5 hours per week)
No experience of postal work is required as full training will be provided. Flexibility to work additional hours is preferred.
The recruitment process requires that candidates pass a postal aptitude test. A basic police clearance is also required. Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.

We are looking to recruit 2 Company Trainees to join our team at Guernsey Post. This is a junior role ideally suited to a school leaver.
This is an exciting and varied role where the post-holder will provide cover and support in key functions across the company. In doing so the post-holder will be given the opportunity to develop an extensive understanding of the organisation including its procedures, policies, processes, and people before deciding on a future career path.
The company trainees will have opportunity to work in departments across the business being deployed into various roles and short secondments, these will include, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Retail, HR, Postal Operations, Commercial, BATIF, Marketing and Philatelic.
Knowledge & Skills required of Company Trainee candidates:
- Good interpersonal skills

- Basic letter writing skills
