We are looking to recruit a relief postal worker to join our Sark postal team to cover for periods of absence.
The work involves sorting, preparing and delivering letters and parcels to addresses around the island.
You will need the ability to work quickly with good attention to detail, have an excellent knowledge of the island and a passion for good customer service. You will also need to be physically fit. No experience of postal work is required as full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours and be available at short notice.
The recruitment process involves a written aptitude test and a basic police clearance. Candidates with unspent convictions for dishonesty or drug offences will not be eligible for appointment.

We are looking to recruit responsible and conscientious individuals to join our postal team to help us process mail over the Christmas period.
The work involves the processing of both the inward and outward bound mail. Candidates will need the ability to work quickly and accurately with good attention to address detail and to work well to deadlines. The work requires lifting and standing for long periods of time so candidates should be physically fit. No experience of postal work is required as full training will be provided. Flexibility to work additional hours is preferred.
Hours: 1100 - 1600 Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 8 November to 29 December 2017 or 22 November to 29 December 2017

Casual Workers will not be required to take the Aptitude Test.
