Simon Milsted has been appointed the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at Guernsey Post Ltd.
Simon Milsted has been a non-executive director of Guernsey Post since 2011. He is a Chartered Accountant and has previously been Regional President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Since moving to the Island in 2010, Simon has pursued an active engagement with businesses and not for profit organisations. Simon takes on the role from retiring Chairman Andrew Duquemin who had served as a non-executive director on the Guernsey Post Board since 2007.
Simon Milsted commented, "I am delighted to be taking on the role of Chairman at Guernsey Post and extending my involvement with the Company. The postal industry continues to be an extremely challenging business environment and over the coming years it is vital that we develop new sources of income whilst maintaining a strong focus on delivering our traditional services with the quality of service that our customers have come to expect".
