Disruption to the arrival of the mail plane

With immediate effect and in line with the new opening hours the UK mail plane will now arrive in Guernsey at approximately 12:30pm each day. Parcels from this flight will be delivered the next day.

Guernsey Post would also like to advise customers that parcels are being given priority at this time and letter mail will now be delivered on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. This prioritisation allows Guernsey Post to manage staffing arrangements in the most safe and effective way.

Delivery times

To give our posties more space in our sorting office we are staggering the times they start work. This means that your postie will be delivering your mail either a bit earlier or a bit later than usual.

With effect from 1st June all letter mail will now be delivered daily Monday to Friday.

Early morning mail collections suspended

Early morning mail collections (6am) from roadside postboxes have been suspended until further notice. All other collections from roadside postboxes remain in place.

Guernsey Post would also like to advise customers that parcels are being given priority at this time and letter mail will now be delivered on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. This prioritisation allows Guernsey Post to manage staffing arrangements in the most safe and effective way.

Mail delivery to Alderney, Sark and Herm

Please note there will be some disruption to the arrival of mail in Alderney as we seek to utilise a combination of available sea and air schedules. Deliveries of mail to residents will be aligned with the arrival of mail onto the Island whenever possible.

Mail to Sark will connect with the scheduled freighters on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Mail to Herm will continue to connect with the current boat schedule.

Mail will continue to be despatched from all islands, in line with available sea and air schedules.

Please bear with us during these unprecedented times, and if you have any specific queries please contact our Customer Service Team on 726241.

Are you happy for us to leave your items by your door?

Look out for our leaflet which has been posted through your door - we are asking you to display the leaflet if you do not have a Safeplace, where we can leave items that do not fit through your letterbox, but you are happy for us to leave your items by your door. We will knock to let you know that we have left a delivery.

If you have any queries please contact our Customer Services Team on 711720.
