BATIF Bureau de Change is currently in the process of setting up a new Loyalty Card Scheme for 2020. Existing 2019 BATIF Loyalty Card holders will be notified before the end of 2019 (if their permissions allow) and receive a new 'Scheme' Loyalty Card for use in 2020 and beyond with details of use and terms and conditions included. Existing card holders who do not receive notification and a new 'Scheme' Loyalty Card in the post can exchange their old cards for a new 'Scheme' Loyalty Card in person at BATIF Bureau de Change.
A BATIF Loyalty Card entitles the holder to preferential currency rates when ordering their foreign currency over the phone on 723069, online at batif.gg or over the desk at BATIF Bureau de Change situated in the Tourist Information Centre, North Esplanade, St Peter Port.
If you are a new customer, and wish to express an interest in receiving new 'Scheme' BATIF Loyalty Card please fill out the expression of interest form found below, or instore at BATIF. We are expecting to issue the Loyalty Card to new customers in Spring 2020. Prior to the card release you will receive notification via your choice of contact. In keeping with the Guernsey Post commitment to our environmental sustainability in the Island, our cards are 100% degradable and ISO14000 compliant. They will break down in the right conditions over a period of time when thrown away, leaving no harmful toxins. BATIF will replace damaged cards for existing customers on request.
|1||The BATIF loyalty card (hereinafter referred to as the "Scheme") is a loyalty scheme operated by Guernsey Post Limited on behalf of BATIF Bureau de Change ("BATIF"), under which holders of the loyalty card (herein after referred to as "Members") receive a preferential rate in respect of currency purchases made at BATIF. Members usage of the loyalty card denotes their acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Members must be over the age of 18 years.|
|2||By participating in the Scheme, a Member consents to BATIF collecting and storing any information provided by the Member to BATIF on enrolment in the Scheme and information relating to the Member's transactions, purchases and participation in the Scheme. This will include personal data about the Member including the Member's name, address and purchases from BATIF. BATIF will only share a Member's personal information with carefully selected third party partners to assist with the operation of the Scheme (including the provision of Member Benefits) and as otherwise required by law. |3||Qualifying purchases are all purchases made (using any form of tender) at the BATIF Bureau de Change office situated within the Tourist Information Centre, St Peter Port, Guernsey or purchases made online via the website www.batif.gg|
|4||BATIF may at any time and at its absolute discretion refuse or revoke any Member’s membership of the Scheme in which case that Member’s preferential rate will be cancelled.|
|5||BATIF will not be liable for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, resulting from the termination of, or changes to, the Scheme or from the cancellation or revocation of membership of any Member.|
|6||Members shall notify BATIF of any change of address or other personal details in writing or by email and of any damage, theft or loss of a BATIF Loyalty Card.|
|7||The BATIF Card is issued by and remains the property of BATIF Bureau de Change on behalf of Guernsey Post Limited. Lost or damaged cards can be replaced upon request, subject to an administration fee of £8. BATIF will not be responsible for any liability due to loss, theft or misuse of the loyalty card. Loyalty cards are not transferable and can only be used by the named card holder.|
|8||BATIF loyalty cards will remain valid for 18 months after the last customer order received, at which point a Members card will be deactivated. Members will receive a letter of notification prior to the card being deactivated. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide BATIF Bureau de Change with any change of address for notification purposes. Members may request to reactivate their Loyalty Card once they have placed a minimum order of £250 at the normal currency rate.|
|9||If there is any difference between the terms and conditions as set out on other information provided in relation to the Scheme, the terms and conditions online will prevail.|
|10||BATIF reserves the right to update, replace or withdraw any or all of the benefits of the Scheme at any time.|
|11||BATIF reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions. Members will be notified of and will be deemed to have accepted any changes or variations by his/her continued use of the Scheme.|
