We have a licence issued by the Guernsey Competition and Regulatory Authority (GCRA) to provide postal services across the Bailiwick of Guernsey under the Post Office (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2001. As part of these powers and under Section 10 of the Postal Law, we make a Scheme for our Inland and Overseas Letter and Parcel services.  Any new Schemes are published in La Gazette Officielle before they come into effect and replace any previous Schemes. In addition to the Scheme, there are provisions for Limitations and Exclusions of Liability, which can be found below. Other provisions (such as Addressing and Packing Guidelines) are listed in the scheme. The Scheme can be found on this website or by contacting our Customer Services Team on 711720.

Guernsey Post Limited is licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission under the Lending, Credit and Finance (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2002, under section 23 of the Law to carry out Financial Firm Business (Part III) activities.
