Misdelivered Mail
We will deliver postal items to the delivery address written on the postal item and not to the person whose name is also written on the postal item.
If you receive a 'Misdelivered' Item not for you, but at the correct or similar address, please strike through the address and write clearly "NOT KNOWN AT THIS ADDRESS" on the 'Misdelivered' Item and post the 'Misdelivered' Item in a post office letter box (no charges shall apply) or alternatively (if the 'Misdelivered' Item is too big to put in a post office letter box) contact our Customer Services team on 01481 711720 as soon as possible.
If you receive an item that we have delivered to you in error (where neither the name, or the address is yours) please pop it back in your nearest post box or contact our Customer Services team to arrange collection if the item is too large to fit in a post box.
You must not open, retain or destroy any 'Misdelivered' Item (and you may be found guilty of an offence in accordance with section 17 of the Law if you do so).
