Post box 44, Le Bordage

Guernsey’s post boxes reflect the island’s evolving postal history, beginning with the introduction of pillar boxes in 1853 after trials inspired by Anthony Trollope’s observations in Europe. This box, installed in October 1937, served the community until its closure in November 2025. This George V design is particularly rare, making it a notable example of the period.
