Situated within the Delancey Conservation Area, this Victorian post box, dating from before 1901, forms part of Guernsey’s evolving postal history, which began with pillar boxes introduced in 1853 after trials inspired by Anthony Trollope’s observations in Europe. A later box installed here in September 1931 served the community until its closure in November 2025.
