Post box 54, Mont Saint

Guernsey’s post boxes reflect the island’s evolving postal history, beginning with pillar boxes introduced in 1853 after trials inspired by Anthony Trollope’s observations in Europe. This lamp pillar box, one of very few of its kind in Guernsey, was installed in August 1993 and served the community until its closure in November 2025.
