This VR wall box, dating from 1873–1878, is a rare Size B example made by Bernard P. Walker of Birmingham and remains in its original location. Guernsey’s post boxes reflect an evolving postal system introduced in 1853 after trials inspired by Anthony Trollope. Although its installation date is unrecorded, it served the community until November 2025. Box No. 13, Victoria Road is of the same make and period.
