Following the severe weather conditions caused by Storm Goretti and the resulting impact on road safety across the island, Guernsey Post has taken the decision to cancel all postal deliveries and island-wide collections today.
In addition, our Town Post Office, Envoy House Post Office, and Parcel Collection Counter will remain closed for the day.
No mail arrived on the island today, and there was no outbound dispatch to the UK last night. We expect an evening dispatch to the UK tonight carrying yesterday’s mail, and parcel deliveries are expected to take place on Saturday, with incoming mail arriving in the morning.
Please bear with us whilst we manage high volumes of mail following these disruptions. We anticipate that all Post Offices and the Parcel Collection Counter will reopen as normal tomorrow. Customers are advised to check our website and social media channels for the latest updates.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their understanding as we prioritise the safety of our staff and the community.
