The St Peter Port Christmas Lights Charity is working with Guernsey Post again this year to raise funds to keep the Christmas lights bright in Town.
From Monday 6th July posties will once again be delivering donation envelopes to residents and businesses. Dawn Gallienne, Head of Corporate Engagement at Guernsey Post said
We have seen through recent events how strong the Guernsey community spirit is. This year more than ever we will need the Christmas lights to shine brightly in St Peter Port.

The Christmas Lights create a lovely atmosphere and bring people into town to shop during the festive season. This is a great opportunity to see more of the Guernsey Together spirit and to support local businesses as part of the States' Revive and Thrive plan. The Charity needs to raise £32,000 this year to cover the cost of putting the lights up and taking them back down.
Jax Robin added
We received a generous anonymous donation during lockdown which we are incredibly grateful for. This has funded some much need maintenance on some of the electrical wiring and new lights to replace all the ones damaged by the extreme bad weather meaning we can focus on raising the remaining funds in time for the Christmas Lights switch on Saturday 28th November.
