Guernsey Post is undergoing minor building works to relocate its Parcel Collection Counter at Envoy House from the rear of the building to the side, where it will sit alongside its Private Box counter.
Customers will still have easy access to parking for loading heavy items.
Chris Jackson, Operations Director at Guernsey Post said: “We continue to see consistently high volumes of parcels coming into the island and by re-utilising space from our Parcel Collection Counter we can handle this volume more efficiently. The successful roll out of our Safeplace delivery service means we can reduce the space we need for our Parcel Collection Counter, and it makes sense to relocate this to our Private Box area which already has easy access for our customers.”
Guernsey Post expects the works to be completed within the next two to three weeks. Both the Private Box and Parcel Collections counters will remain open as normal whilst the work is being completed.
